The new Ford F-350 is a work truck that looks the part. The Ford F-350 has superior towing and hauling capacity, as you might imagine, and it also has a comfortable cabin with plenty of technology. Most trims also have standard four-wheel drive. Some trims now have standard navigation, and the V8 engine that powers the XL trim level has a flex-fuel design.
While the Ford F-350 appears to be a strong work truck on the outside, its interior is designed for passenger comfort and enjoyment. The cabin is spacious and ranges from practical but well-appointed at the base level to luxurious on the higher-end trims. This new truck is produced in several cab styles, including a regular, extended, and crew cab. There is plenty of space for occupants in all trims, and some models have added upscale amenities such as heated seats in both rows.
The Ford F-350 is ultimately a truck made for getting through a tough workday, and its exterior is designed to weather the elements and even go exploring off paved roads. The F-350 has a power-locking tailgate for safety and standard heated mirrors that you can adjust for towing a trailer. LED exterior lighting comes with the Lariat trim and up, and you can get wheels from 18 inches to 20 inches with different designs. Trim-specific detailing is also available.
There are multiple engines available to power the Ford F-350. The standard engine is a capable 6.8L V8 that reaches 400 horsepower in output and 445 pound-feet of torque. A 7.3L V8 engine is available with the XLT trim and up. You can also choose from one of two diesel engines. The standard diesel engine produces 475 horsepower and 1,050 pound-feet of torque, or you can get a higher output version of the engine that produces 500 horsepower and 1,200 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and the F-350 will tow 27,000 pounds.
The F-350's standard technology includes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone pairing with wireless connectivity. A 5G Wi-Fi hotspot access is also included, and you'll get a standard eight-inch infotainment display. You'll also get two 120V outlets with the second trim and higher. A 12-inch digital instrument panel and a 12-inch touchscreen with navigation come with the Lariat, which also upgrades to a B&O sound system with a subwoofer and eight speakers. A wireless charging pad is also included with the Lariat. With the King Ranch comes an upgrade to a 14-speaker B&O sound system and a head-up display.
This new Ford Super Duty trucks standard safety equipment includes trailer sway damping and an integrated trailer brake controller. Forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking are included, starting with the second trim level. The higher-end trim levels of the F-350 also add rear automatic braking, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and a surround-view camera. Lane departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, lane centering, and upgraded forward collision mitigation are available starting with the King Ranch trim level. Backup assist is also added to the King Ranch for trailering.
The base model of the F-350 is the XL, which has 17-inch steel wheels, remote engine start, air conditioning, and vinyl floors.
The XLT has 18-inch wheels, carpeted floors, cloth seats, and a power-adjustable driver's seat.
With the Lariat, you'll get a remote tailgate release, leather seats, power-adjustable pedals, power-folding mirrors, heated and ventilated seats in front, and a heated steering wheel.
The King Ranch has power-operated running boards, larger 20-inch alloy wheels, a leather-trimmed interior specific to the trim, and a Pro Power Onboard electrical outlet to power devices.
