Performance
The Ford Mustang makes a powerful impression with an adrenaline-fueled 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 315 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. This is paired with a smooth ten-speed automatic transmission and optional paddle shifters mounted directly on the steering wheel for manual control. The Mustang GT trim goes even harder with a five-liter V8 Coyote engine that generates 486 horsepower and 418 pound-feet of torque. It comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission and rev-matching for some of the smoothest shifting you'll ever experience. The Ford Mustang Dark Horse trim delivers the ultimate performance with 500 horsepower, 418 pound-feet of torque, and the same six-speed manual transmission. Combined with a titanium anodized blue shift knob, the Dark Horse can go through the gears without ever taking your foot off the acceleration. An optional MagneRide damping system responds a thousand times per second for a smoother overall driving experience.
Interior
The New Ford Mustang features an immersive and comfortable interior that can fit up to four people at a time. It comes standard with a single-zone automatic climate control, particulate air filter, leather-wrapped gear shift knob, and vinyl-flat-bottom steering wheel. The cloth upholstery is paired with a four-way manual passenger's seat and six-way manual driver's seat. Optional features include ambient lighting, heated and cooled front seats, heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic temperature control, and ActiveX or leather seating. A six-speaker audio system comes standard, but a nine-speaker audio and 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system are available on select trims. The trunk can also store more than 14 cubic feet of equipment.
Exterior
Available in your choice of either a fastback or convertible body design, the Ford Mustang exudes a powerful and electric style. It comes standard with automatic rain-sensing windshield wipers, configurable daytime running lights, a rear window defroster, power-adjustable side mirrors, dual bright exhaust outlets with rolled tips, and LED projector headlights and taillights with signature lighting. The GT trim adds an exclusive black-painted front grille, limited-slip rear axle, hood vents, and dual quad tips with active valve exhaust. The Dark Horse trim features unique front and rear lower fascia painted front upper grille, high-performance rear spoiler, wedge decklid spoiler, and silver-painted strut-tower brace. An optional 60th Anniversary Package also has unique rear and fender badges, special modular grille, silver metallic or vermillion red side stripes, and 20-inch dark gravity gray wheels with bright machined details.
Technology
The Ford Mustang features an elegant dashboard that integrates both a 13.2-inch touchscreen display and a 12.4-inch customizable digital instrument cluster. It comes standard with 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities, intelligent push-button start, and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration.
